How the price is set
- Gross floor area. Gross floor area is the floor area inside the outside walls of every storey people use. The foundation level and the roof level do not count.
- Building. The first building in a film always counts. Each further building counts toward the price when it has at least 2,000 square feet of gross floor area. Smaller structures, such as a garage or a kiosk, count toward the floor area only.
- Site logistics layout. A site logistics layout is one arrangement of the fence, gates, cranes, hoists and laydown areas. A new layout starts whenever one of them is placed, moved or removed while the work continues.
- When it is set. Stereobate measures the gross floor area from the model on day 1 and lists it storey by storey with the schedule mismatches. The price follows that measurement. If the measurement places the project in a different tier from the brief, Stereobate confirms the new price in writing before production begins.
Refreshes
- Compact film refresh · $2,000. A refresh of a compact film applies one revised schedule to the approved film. Stereobate keeps the approved camera positions and client identity, re-renders the affected frames and stills, and delivers the refresh in five business days for $2,000.
- Standard film refresh · $2,500. A refresh of a standard film applies one revised schedule to the approved film. Stereobate keeps the approved camera positions and client identity, re-renders the affected frames and stills, and delivers the refresh in five business days for $2,500.
- Large film refresh · $3,500. A refresh of a large film applies one revised schedule to the approved film. Stereobate keeps the approved camera positions and client identity, re-renders the affected frames and stills, and delivers the refresh in five business days for $3,500.
- Program film refresh · Quoted. Stereobate quotes the refresh of a program film when it quotes the film, and delivers it in five business days.
Add-ons
- Rush delivery · $2,850 compact, $4,200 standard, $6,600 large. Rush delivery moves a new film from ten to six business days. It adds $2,850 to a compact film, $4,200 to a standard film and $6,600 to a large film.
- Rush refresh · $1,000. A rush refresh is delivered in two business days and costs $1,000 more than the refresh price.
- Additional correction round · $1,500. An additional correction round costs $1,500 and adds three business days to delivery. Stereobate re-renders the frames the comments concern and keeps the approved camera positions.
- Additional building · $3,500 each. Each building after the first adds $3,500, up to four buildings in one film. The film’s tier is set by the total gross floor area of all its buildings.
- Additional site logistics layout · $1,500 each. Each site logistics layout after the fourth costs $1,500. A layout is one arrangement of the fence, gates, cranes, hoists and laydown areas, and a new layout starts whenever one of them is placed, moved or removed while the work continues.
- Alternate scheme · $3,500. An alternate scheme is a second film of the same building from a second schedule, on the approved camera positions, delivered with the first film for $3,500.
- Short cuts · $1,200. Short cuts are a 20-second excerpt of the film in landscape, vertical and square formats, with a caption file, for $1,200.
- Narrated version · $2,000. A narrated version adds a voice track to the film for $2,000. The client approves the script, one professional voice reads it, and the captions follow the narration.
- Additional still · $250 each. Each still beyond the six included costs $250, and every still shows its date and schedule activity on the frame.
- Modeling from drawings · Quoted. Stereobate quotes modeling from drawings as a separate service.
Stereobate delivers the commissioned package in ten business days and includes one correction round. The client pays half at kickoff and half on delivery for every film, refresh and add-on. Business days count from the day Stereobate receives the model, the schedule and the logo.
